Comments Policy

Please, please, please keep in mind that we are all trying to move toward our dreams, and everyone is starting from a different place. Toward that end, please be supportive and encouraging to each other in the comments. If you have a bone to pick with me about something I have written, I will happily respond and engage in a constructive dialogue with you all day. However, any comments that are meant to intentionally hurt, belittle or otherwise do damage to my friends will be immediately printed out, pierced with darts, then burned. And deleted of course. As mentioned in the Privacy Policy above, I am not responsible for anything that Facebook chooses to do with your comments. If you are logged into Facebook when you make the comments, please be aware that their Privacy Policy will apply from that point on. And considering Facebook's track record with privacy, well, just be careful.

Disclosure Policy

The Federal Trade Commission (the FTC) has guidelines regarding endorsements and testimonials in order to protect the public from any intentionally errant or misleading advertising that has been paid for by a group or company. I guess technically this blog is a source of income for me, so I need to let you know that:

  • This website and blog may be used to promote products, services, or other businesses.

  • I will only promote or mention products and services that I have either created myself, or feel will be beneficial to site visitors/friends/customers. Anything positive that I say about someone else’s product or service will be because I like it, not because they are paying me to say nice things.

  • There may be “affiliate links” in some of the blog posts. This means that if you click on that link and buy the product, that company will give me a pat on the head in the form of a referral commission (I have not been given any free products or services to mention their site). If you don’t want me to benefit from your clicking on that link, just go to the website by typing in the address yourself, and that should take me out of the picture. No worries! By the way, I am saying this here, and may mention on blog posts, but I may or may not point out the affiliate links everywhere they exist on this site. It gets wordy after a while.

Ten Thousand Choices and its parent company (wow that sounds impressive) Management Consulting and Training Assoc., LLC are my babies. I do this because I love it, and I love talking to people about their goals and dreams. But I also do it because it is my career, and if you read my book, you will see that Financial Well-Being is among my most important life choice elements. But I digress – the point is, this is a business, set up to support me and family while giving me a career I can be proud of. I appreciate my site visitors, avid readers and customers, and will do everything I can to make it more than worth your time and investment to be here.
